“The project in Nepal is fantastic. Living and working in the community meant that we could really deliver exactly what the people living there needed. The gratitude that our village showed towards us was truly humbling. Our ‘Nepali family’ was incredible and I left with a unique insight into Nepali culture. I loved it!”

                          Fact File - Project

                          • BVDA works in conjunction with Partnership for Sustainable Development (PSD)  in sending volunteers to Ilam, a major tea-producing town in the east of Nepal
                          • The projects are focused around local schools and involve construction and teaching
                          • Volunteers take part in training during week one which focuses on learning the Nepali language and gaining an awareness of Nepali culture.
                          • For the rest of project volunteers will live with a local family and a Nepali counterpart.
